MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Engineering Technician III to join our vehicle sustainment team. This position will be remote. The selected candidate will provide maintenance support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists in the conduct of tests, maintenance of test records and maintenance records. Preparation of final reports, instrumentation support and design, fabrication of subsystems and complete systems, operation of heavy equipment and/or maintenance on vehicles in support of engineering programs.
- Provides documentation to support engineering analysis.
- May supervise other support personnel in conduct of tests.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree and 4 years of relevant experience or a High School diploma and 10 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening; must possess a Valid Driver’s License for the location in which the work will be performed, a High School Diploma or GED, and a Passport valid for at least one year beyond the start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance prior to starting this position.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
The projected compensation range for this position is $71,300.00-$118,200.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
