Director of customer marketing & community

About the Role

Build a customer advocacy engine from the ground up at a healthcare AI company. You will turn customer outcomes into stories, relationships, and programs that support growth across the go-to-market team.

What You'll Do

• Build a Customer Advisory Board, including member recruitment, program charter, and initial engagements.
• Establish a customer reference program and a predictable cadence for case studies, testimonials, and video content.
• Create a customer speaker bureau and prepare customers for events, webinars, and media opportunities.
• Bring customer proof points into the website, sales materials, account-based marketing campaigns, and executive communications.
• Develop reporting to track program impact, including pipeline contribution, references delivered, stories published, and community engagement.

What We're Looking For

• Seven to ten years of experience in B2B customer marketing, advocacy, or product marketing.
• A record of building customer advocacy or reference programs from the ground up, including experience creating or revamping a Customer Advisory Board.
• Experience in healthcare, healthtech, or another regulated industry, with a background engaging executive customers.
• Experience at high-growth B2B startups or established companies, ideally in vertical SaaS or regulated markets.
• Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce, marketing automation, content management systems, and AI/ML tools.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $180,000 to $200,000 annually.

Remote, with San Francisco, California as the primary location.
