The role

You’ve built strong design fundamentals. Now you’re ready to take more ownership of the work. We’re looking for a designer with good ideas, thoughtful craft and curiosity about what else design can do. You should be comfortable taking a creative direction and developing it, while bringing your own references, explorations and recommendations to the process. You’ll work with Design Directors, Creative Directors, writers and specialist collaborators on brand identities, campaigns and content. Some days you’ll explore something new. Other days you’ll make an established direction work beautifully across a full set of deliverables.

What you’ll do

• Develop design concepts and executions across brand identity, campaigns, social, digital and presentations.
• Create layouts, mood boards and visual explorations that help the team assess different directions.
• Extend approved concepts into consistent, well-crafted assets across formats.
• Apply strong typography, composition, color and image selection to every assignment.
• Present your work and explain your design choices.
• Respond thoughtfully to feedback and carry learning into the next round.
• Prepare accurate final files and maintain organized working files.
• Manage your time, communicate progress and flag questions or obstacles early.

What you’ll bring

• Typically 5+ years of professional design experience in an agency, studio or brand team.
• A portfolio showing strong fundamentals, conceptual thinking and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
• Experience designing across multiple formats and working within brand guidelines.
• The ability to take a project from initial exploration to finished execution with guidance.
• Openness to feedback and a willingness to contribute your own point of view.

Additional strengths

Motion, illustration, 3D, web design or AI-assisted creative exploration would be welcome additions to your practice.

Working Location

We are a remote company and welcome candidates based in the US and internationally. Our team generally works Eastern Standard Time hours, and this role requires availability during the standard US East Coast workday to collaborate with colleagues and meet client needs.
