Data analyst

CTG is seeking to fill a Data Analyst position for our client.

Location: Anchorage, AK

Duration: 6 months

Responsibilities:

• Work with the Project Manager and business users to identify reporting requirements and recreate required legacy reports within the new application environment.
• Develop and publish reports and dashboards to support business and operational reporting needs.
• Develop reporting solutions using SSRS, Datamart, and related reporting tools.
• Apply appropriate filters, calculations, and data logic to reporting outputs.
• Work with technical team members to validate data access, table relationships, and joins.
• Develop and maintain a data dictionary to support ongoing system knowledge and reporting.
• Configure scheduled report distribution and data exports as required.
• Validate reports and dashboards prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Publish approved reporting solutions to the production environment following UAT acceptance.
• Support a variety of operational, customer service, financial, and management reporting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SSRS, Datamart reporting, Exago, and/or Power BI.
• Experience developing reports and dashboards from enterprise application data.
• Experience working with relational data, including tables, joins, filters, and reporting logic.
• Experience validating and troubleshooting data and reporting outputs.
• Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications or reporting environments preferred.
• AMCS Platform experience or solid waste industry knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
