Responsibilities / Position Overview

We are seeking a Contracts Specialist to join our Legal Services department on a temporary basis for approximately 4 months. This role supports the Company’s core business by executing day to day tasks for the successful development, handling, and storing of project-level agreements (e.g. statements of work) and other associated essential contracting and legal documentation that enables Lumanity to effectively contract with its clients.

Due to our work with clients globally, candidate must be based on East Coast (or EST) to accommodate time differences.

Essential Role Responsibilities Include:

• Understanding the contracting needs and requirements of Lumanity’s operating companies, ensuring agreements align with client specifications, Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and project-level requirements.
• Review and prepare agreements, including Confidentiality Disclosure Agreements (CDAs) and MSAs, using established Lumanity guidelines before coordinating review, amendments, and signatures with commercial teams and clients.
• Support the day-to-day administration of the contracting process, including maintaining contract trackers, organizing legal and corporate documents, monitoring upcoming expirations, and maintaining legal templates and process documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the Legal Services team, including managing the team inbox and supporting other activities that help ensure an efficient contracting process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with one year of contracting experience.
• Up to four (4) years of experience, without a degree, with relevant exposure to creating and supporting contractual agreements in a professional services environment.
• Familiarity with legal and procurement functions in the life sciences or healthcare area is a plus.
