Content specialist - product marketing content specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Content Specialist - Product Marketing Content Specialist based in the United States.

This role combines strategic communications, product marketing, and content development across internal and external audiences. You’ll plan, create, manage, and analyze content that supports products, services, business priorities, and go-to-market initiatives. The position requires translating complex topics into clear, compelling communications tailored to different audiences and channels. You’ll collaborate with business leaders, marketing teams, external partners, agencies, and other stakeholders to strengthen content reach and impact. Your work will span formats including case studies, white papers, presentations, campaigns, technical documentation, and executive communications. This is a remote, full-time opportunity suited to a strong writer who can balance creativity, organization, strategic thinking, and project execution.

Accountabilities:

• Lead, manage, plan, produce, implement, and analyze internal and external communication strategies and tactics for products, services, programs, projects, and targeted market segments.
• Develop and manage an enterprise content portfolio covering print and digital materials for employees, customers, business partners, and other stakeholders.
• Research and write a broad range of marketing and communications materials, including RFP responses, technical documentation, product and customer brochures, testimonials, white papers, case studies, advertising materials, presentations, video and animation scripts, email campaigns, executive speeches, and major internal announcements.
• Translate complex topics and issues into clear, effective communications while adapting tone, style, and messaging to different audiences, channels, and stakeholder requirements.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of potential customer case studies, references, and content topics by developing strong relationships with project executives and consulting teams.
• Establish relationships with strategic external partners, analysts, and consultancies to expand content reach and support opportunities involving third-party research, white papers, and related materials.
• Maintain a broad view of content supporting corporate and business-unit brands across different markets and ensure consistency across the overall content portfolio.
• Partner with internal Line of Business Leads to understand industry priorities, customer needs, and business insights, then translate those inputs into strategic written communications.
• Identify cross-functional impacts, communicate requirements to relevant teams and leaders, and coordinate internal and external resources to deliver projects effectively.
• Support lead generation and demand generation initiatives by creating content designed to increase engagement, conversion, pipeline development, and customer growth.
• Contribute to integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and other go-to-market initiatives through strategic content development and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in communications, content, marketing, or a related field, with experience developing content for multiple formats and targeted audiences.
• Portfolio demonstrating relevant writing, communications, marketing, or content projects.
• Strong writing, editing, presentation, communication, organization, and planning skills.
• Ability to create clear, complete, and accessible documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated project management, analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication skills, including confidence presenting ideas in group settings.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and responsibilities while consistently delivering accurate work on schedule.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders, business partners, agencies, vendors, and external resources.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment when managing content and communications responsibilities.
• Comfortable working with individuals at different levels of an organization and adapting communication styles to different audiences.
• Proficiency with word-processing, spreadsheet, flowcharting, desktop publishing, and related productivity applications.
• Strong ability to work effectively in virtual environments, including maintaining active engagement and camera presence during remote meetings when required.
• Experience supporting lead generation and demand generation programs, with an understanding of how content contributes to engagement, conversion, pipeline, and customer growth is preferred.
• Experience developing integrated marketing campaigns for product launches and other go-to-market initiatives is preferred.
• Background in B2B SaaS, optical, eyewear, lens technology, healthcare technology, or a related industry is advantageous.
