Our client is looking for a Content Creator & Personal Brand Manager to manage and grow a tech influencer's online presence. Working directly with an experienced product manager in big tech, you will transform raw ideas and materials into engaging content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Substack. This role provides creative ownership to package content using current trends and editing techniques while building a brand designed to unlock speaking engagements, consulting opportunities, and executive positions. You will have access to editing courses and style catalogs to learn the brand voice and execute with independence.

Client Overview

Our client is a tech product manager with over a decade of experience in infrastructure development and developer tools, currently building a personal brand in the tech and product management space. They are establishing themselves as a subject matter expert with the goal of landing executive opportunities and board positions. This is a ground-floor opportunity to help build a brand from scratch.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during the client's business hours (US Eastern Time, 20 hours per week)

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage and materials into engaging social media content for Instagram, LinkedIn, and Substack
• Create graphics, design posts, and write basic captions that align with brand themes and templates
• Stay current on social media trends and apply them to maximize reach and engagement
• Schedule and post content consistently across all platforms
• Engage with communities, influencers, and target audiences through comments and interactions
• Conduct outreach via DMs to influencers and potential collaboration partners
• Develop and maintain brand templates and visual identity guidelines
• Adapt to working with a startup environment where processes are built from scratch
• Provide insights on content performance and recommend optimization strategies
• Package content in ways that resonate with tech professionals and product management audiences

Requirements

• Proven experience managing social media for tech influencers, SaaS companies, or personal brands in the technology sector
• Strong video editing skills with knowledge of current trends and editing techniques
• Graphic design capabilities to create branded visual content
• Deep understanding of Instagram, LinkedIn, and Substack platforms
• Ability to understand and execute brand themes, templates, and style guidelines
• Experience with content creation that targets US tech market audiences
• Willingness to attend meetings during US time zones
• Comfortable working in a startup environment with evolving processes

Qualifications

• Bonus if you have worked with tech content creators or product management influencers previously
• Experience with community outreach and influencer collaboration
• Familiarity with developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or SaaS products
• Experience scaling personal brands from early stages
