Job Title: Commercial Credit Analyst

Status: Full Time

Location: Bethalto, IL (Remote option available)

Salary: $29.23 to $43.85

We are currently seeking motivated and member-oriented individuals to join our team as a Commercial Credit Analyst.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Commercial Credit Analyst to complete analytical tasks associated with underwriting and monitoring the organization’s Commercial Loan Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spreads and analyzes business and personal financial statements and tax returns, accounts receivable and payable aging, inventory reports, and third-party appraisal reports.
  • Determines cash flow using appropriate software and cash flow models.
  • Analyzes financial conditions, industries, and trends.
  • Conducts credit investigations and analyzes credit information pertaining to loans.
  • Investigates all available sources of credit and financial information, including reporting services, credit bureaus, other companies, main office files, and branches.
  • Completes annual loan reviews, risk grades, and problem loan reports.
  • Collects financial information and performs covenant monitoring and testing.
  • Ensures that all credit files include proper documentation including current financial statements and agency reports.
  • Reviews and reports non-compliance with loan covenants.
  • Conducts industry research and assists with special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry equivalent to a bachelor’s degree.
  • Exceptional customer service skills required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Monday – Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
