Comment Moderator

We are looking for Comment Moderators to review and moderate user-generated content. As a Comment Moderator, you will review and investigate visual and written content that violates our Community Guidelines. You must be detail-oriented, culturally attuned, and self-motivated. This is a remote, part-time contract role.

Bilingual fluency in English plus Hindi, Japanese, or Portuguese is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience moderating user-generated content (e.g. comments, forums, or social media trust & safety)
• Culturally aware of current trends, slang, and pop culture in the U.S. (a plus if also familiar with trends in Hindi-, Japanese-, or Portuguese-speaking markets)
• Technically savvy and able to quickly learn new systems
• High speed internet connection required
• Comfortable reviewing graphic, sensitive, or disturbing content as a routine part of the role
• Able to maintain strict confidentiality around user data and moderation decisions

$16 - $16 an hour
