ABOUT THIS ROLE

We are looking for a COO who is also a true investing partner, someone who brings capital, connections, and operational excellence to the table. You will work directly with the founding team to build the systems, structures, and culture that enable Indie Group to scale. This is a seat at the table for someone who wants to co-create something enduring.

YOU WILL BE A GOOD FIT IF:

• You have 7+ years of senior operational leadership, ideally in a high-growth tech or startup environment
• You have a track record of building and scaling teams, processes, and revenue operations
• You are financially literate and comfortable owning P&L, budgeting, and investor reporting
• You bring an investor mindset and have skin in the game
• You are decisive under ambiguity and lead with clarity
• You can hold strategy and execution simultaneously without losing sight of either

YOU WILL BE AN EXCEPTIONAL FIT IF:

• You have led operations at a company that scaled from early-stage to Series B or beyond
• You have deep networks in relevant tech ecosystems (United States, Europe, or global)
• You have experience with M&A, fundraising, seed-rounds, dilution, exits or board management
• You are a builder at heart and are energised by creating structure where none exists
• You have a philosophy of leadership that multiplies other people's potential

The COO-Investing Partner focuses on execution, operations, and scaling internal systems. This role ensures the business runs efficiently and delivers on its strategic goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead fundraising and investor relations
• Drive revenue growth and market positioning
• Represent the company externally
• Oversee day-to-day operations
• Build scalable systems and processes
• Manage teams and performance metrics
• Optimize costs and operational efficiency
• Support CEO in executing strategic initiative
