Join our team at Lemnis! Lemnis is a public charity dedicated to harnessing transformative change to expand learning for all. We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Chief Business Transformation Officer (CBTO) to join our innovative, forward-thinking, and growing organization. At Lemnis, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment where every team member can thrive. If you are passionate about expanding learning for all, eager to make a meaningful impact, and ready to take on new challenges, we would love to hear from you. Apply now and be a part of our journey!
At Lemnis, we believe that the world is changing in exciting ways. It's up to us to create more equitable, flexible, and learner-centered systems that empower young people to rise to the challenges and opportunities of the future. Lemnis is experiencing an extraordinary period of rapid expansion and enterprise evolution. Having grown from 24 full-time employees (FTE) in January 2026 to nearly 300 today, our organizational complexity and operational scale have increased dramatically. At this pivotal moment in our growth trajectory, the Chief Business Transformation Officer role is critical to ensuring our operational capabilities, divisional integrations, and strategic alignment effectively support and sustain our momentum. The Chief Business Transformation Officer is a senior C-level executive responsible for centralizing and leading the execution of business transformation, operational alignment, and cross-divisional integration in service of Lemnis's mission, growth, and long-term sustainability. The role operates at the intersection of business transformation, operational excellence, and enterprise performance—ensuring that priorities across divisions are tightly aligned, properly sequenced, and driving performance against operational, growth, and innovation objectives.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Business Transformation Officer (CBTO) serves as a primary thought partner to the CEO, executive leadership team (ELT), and Board of Directors. This role translates high-level strategic vision into operational execution, leads key central functions including Business Transformation & Integration Management Office, and centralizes the execution of strategic initiatives with divisions. This executive will lead integration planning and analysis to establish business objectives, define measurable outcomes, prioritize transformation initiatives, and create accountability for execution.
The Chief Business Transformation Officer plays a central role in guiding incoming divisions through the integration process, partnering with leaders to (i) ensure appropriate shared services from Lemnis Central are provided, and (2) proactively assess and address key operational and strategic matters as they arise.
This role evolves from focusing firstly on integrating divisions and then integrating other businesses into Lemnis while keeping the focus on systems transformation and innovation.
