The CGO is seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking engineer to serve as a member of the CGO Engineering Distributed Work team, in direct support of the CGO’s mission to deliver the right capacity at the right time and in the right way.

The ideal candidate brings strong engineering leadership experience, a track record of executing and standardizing processes across large organizations, and the ability to coordinate solutions across engineering, supply chain, digital technology, security, programs, and customer partners.

This role supports the CGO Engineering Initiatives Leader.

What You Will Do

Distributed Work Project Leadership

  • Lead day-to-day execution of distributed work projects, including migration planning, readiness, and performance tracking.
  • Use data-driven insights on capability, capacity, and performance to support work migration decisions.
  • Develop integrated schedules, manage cross-functional dependencies, and define work packages.
  • Partner across CGO, Programs, Functions, and Corporate to align requirements, infrastructure, timelines, and risks.

Risk, Readiness, and Change Management

  • Provide clear communication, status reporting, KPI tracking, and leadership updates.
  • Use planning tools, earned value tactics, and analytics to support capacity assessments, operational readiness, and data-based migration decisions.
  • Capture lessons learned to refine distributed work processes and drive scalable improvements aligned with the CGO’s capacity strategy.

Travel up to 35% to engage with stakeholders, support initiatives, and ensure alignment across sites.
