Position Overview

HealthLinx is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to support our growth initiatives and help expand our partnerships with hospitals and health systems nationwide.

In this remote role, you will play a key part in identifying and engaging prospective clients, conducting market research, supporting lead generation efforts, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams to create new business opportunities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, thrives in a consultative sales environment, and is eager to make an impact in the healthcare industry.

What You'll Do

• Identify, research, and qualify prospective healthcare clients, including hospitals and health systems.
• Conduct market research to understand industry trends, organizational challenges, and potential opportunities.
• Support outbound lead generation campaigns through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other outreach channels.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings between prospective clients and HealthLinx leadership.
• Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and other business development materials.
• Maintain accurate prospect and pipeline information within the CRM system.
• Track and report business development activities, outreach efforts, and pipeline progress.
• Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operational teams to ensure a seamless transition from prospecting to client engagement.
• Build and nurture professional relationships with healthcare executives and decision-makers.
• Consistently follow up on opportunities to advance prospects through the sales process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in business development, sales, account management, recruiting, or client-facing roles.
• Experience with lead generation, prospecting, and market research.
• Exposure to healthcare, healthcare consulting, or professional services environments is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation

HealthLinx offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward performance and support professional growth.

• Base Salary: $54,000 - $58,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
• Performance-Based Bonus: Opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation based on achievement of lead generation, pipeline, and business development goals. $20k OTE if salary ladder is hit within first year.
