About the Role:

One Shot Automation LLC is looking for a driven and skilled Automations Engineer/Project Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automation projects, bringing innovative solutions to life from concept to completion. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control solutions for industrial and commercial applications
  • Manage engineering projects from initial planning and design through installation, commissioning, and closeout
  • Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and other automation components
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables
  • Troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance
  • Develop technical documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, and project specifications
  • Conduct site visits, system startups, and on-site commissioning as needed

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms)
  • Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and industrial control systems
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, panel design, and NEC code standards
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset
  • Strong communication skills for client-facing interactions and team collaboration
  • Willingness to travel to job sites as required
