About the Role:

The Associate Product Manager sits on Prophia's Product team and reports to the Director of Product Management. This is an early-career product role built for someone who wants to learn (and/or master) the craft end to end in a startup environment. This is a high-exposure, high-ownership role and you will have real responsibility from day one, not just support work. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity and takes initiative without being asked.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Discovery & Research:
  • Lead customer interviews with our ICP to surface pain points and validate product bets
  • Synthesize qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, actionable product briefs
  • Help define and prioritize initiatives across Prophia's core product areas
• Execution & Delivery:
  • Write feature specs, user stories and acceptance criteria that give engineering a clear path to ship
  • Own defined work streams end-to-end, tracking status, surfacing blockers, keeping stakeholders aligned
  • Drive features from research through release, including launch readiness and release communications
• Communication & Alignment:
  • Help maintain and communicate the Now/Next/Later roadmap internally and with customers
  • Prepare materials for leadership updates, conference presentations and external product messaging
  • Partner with Customer Success to make sure new features land well with existing customers

Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of experience in a product role, or in an adjacent role (analyst, engineering, design, data, or customer-facing) with a clear motivation to move into product management
• Exposure to commercial real estate, property management or asset management workflows
• Strong written communication, including the ability to turn fuzzy ideas into clear specs and crisp narratives
• Organized and systematic: you track the details so nothing falls through the cracks
• Genuine curiosity about AI and how it is reshaping knowledge work and enterprise software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with document-heavy or data extraction products
• Experience with Yardi or MRI (huge plus!)
• Familiarity with AI/LLM products or agentic pipelines
• Track record of running customer interviews and translating findings into product decisions

Compensation for this role is comprised of an annual salary ranging between $100,000-$120,000 as well as equity and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
