Analyst, performance and operations analytics

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analyst, Performance and Operations Analytics based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to turn complex business data into insights that directly support growth, profitability, and operational excellence.

You’ll analyze performance across financial, operational, commercial, and organizational dimensions to identify trends and opportunities.

Working closely with senior leaders, you’ll help measure progress against strategic objectives and guide data-driven decisions.

The role combines business analytics, performance management, forecasting, reporting, and strategic project support.

You’ll develop dashboards, scorecards, executive presentations, and analytical models that make performance easier to understand and act upon.

Accountabilities

• Analyze business performance across financial, operational, commercial, customer, and organizational dimensions to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, reporting tools, and performance-tracking frameworks that provide clear visibility into business and initiative results.
• Conduct detailed analyses of revenue, profitability, productivity, utilization, customer metrics, and operational performance.
• Aggregate, reconcile, and synthesize information from multiple data sources to support executive decision-making and business reviews.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, performance summaries, and materials for leadership meetings and operating reviews.
• Support forecasting, scenario analysis, business planning, and quantitative modeling activities.
• Track strategic initiatives and key business objectives, helping leadership monitor progress and identify areas requiring attention.
• Support special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad hoc analyses requested by executive leadership.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to gather information, clarify business questions, and ensure analytical outputs address decision-making needs.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in consulting, business analytics, corporate strategy, FP&A, operational excellence, performance management, or a closely related field.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear business insights.
• Experience analyzing performance across multiple dimensions, including financial, operational, customer, and organizational metrics.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, quantitative modeling, and financial modeling.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to develop polished, executive-level presentations and communicate analytical findings effectively.
• Ability to work with large and complex datasets while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfort working closely with senior leaders and contributing to strategic initiatives.
• A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Experience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar tools is a plus.
• Results-oriented mindset and demonstrated ability to translate analysis into practical recommendations.
