Summary:

The AI & Automation Operational Engineer is a hands-on technical role responsible for designing, developing, deploying, supporting, and optimizing enterprise automation solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Automation Anywhere (mandatory), Python, and Power Apps, along with broader experience in RPA, AI-enabled workflows, intelligent document processing, APIs, workflow orchestration, and enterprise systems integration.

The AI & Automation Operational Engineer-II will partner with Automation leadership, Architects, Business Analysts, Platform teams, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable automation solutions from design through production support. In addition to hands-on engineering, this position provides technical guidance, mentoring, and best practices to other developers, while driving continuous improvement, modernization, and practical adoption of emerging AI and automation capabilities.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

6-8 years of experience in automation development, software engineering, or intelligent automation delivery. Strong hands-on experience with Automation Anywhere (required), Python, and Power Apps. Proven experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise automation solutions. Experience with AI-enabled automation, APIs, workflow technologies, and enterprise integration. Demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership while remaining hands-on. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, and Ability Requirements:

Expert-level hands-on skills in Automation Anywhere; strong experience in Python and Power Apps. Strong knowledge of RPA, AI-enabled automation, workflow technologies, APIs, and enterprise architecture. Excellent troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills. Ability to mentor peers and lead through technical expertise and influence. Strong communication and collaboration skills across business and technical teams. Strong focus on quality, scalability, supportability, and operational readiness. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality solutions in complex enterprise environments.
