Profile Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth across South Asia through new customer acquisition, channel development, market expansion, OEM partnerships, and commercial execution across the Enterprise Authentication Readers portfolio.

The role focuses on developing and converting opportunities within enterprise organizations where authentication, secure access, credential-based workflows, secure print, single sign-on (SSO), and multi-factor authentication (MFA) solutions deliver measurable business value.

Working across direct and partner-led sales channels, the Regional Sales Manager is accountable for pipeline development, customer acquisition, revenue growth, and achievement of assigned commercial objectives.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the role works closely with Product Management, Marketing, Channel Partners, Pre-Sales Engineers, and Technical Support to translate business priorities into commercial results, strengthen market presence, and accelerate adoption across targeted enterprise segments.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Own new customer acquisition, pipeline development, and commercial performance across assigned enterprise accounts and target markets.
• Develop and execute territory and account plans aligned with business growth objectives and commercial priorities.
• Identify, qualify, and convert new opportunities across enterprise organizations and strategic target accounts.
• Lead customer discovery activities to understand business challenges, operational requirements, and authentication workflows.
• Build executive relationships with decision-makers, business leaders, IT organizations, security teams, and key stakeholders.
• Position and sell enterprise authentication solutions including secure print, SSO, MFA, credential-based authentication, and related technologies.
• Drive opportunities through the complete sales cycle from prospecting through negotiation and closure.
• Develop and manage a healthy pipeline with accurate forecasting and clear visibility of opportunities, risks, and actions.
• Collaborate with channel partners, system integrators, resellers, and technology partners to expand market reach and accelerate growth.

Primary Duties

• Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, and Technical Solutions teams to support customer engagements and market adoption.
• Provide market intelligence, customer insights, and competitive feedback to support business planning and portfolio development.
• Represent HID in customer meetings, industry events, partner engagements, and commercial activities.
• Maintain disciplined CRM management, opportunity governance, and reporting practices.

Essential Qualifications:

• Proven track record (8+ years) in enterprise new account acquisition sales (hunter mentality required)
• Experience selling enterprise technology solutions, preferably in areas such as identity & access management (IAM), SSO, enterprise authentication, print management, secure print, device security or OEM/ODM design-in cycles
• Strong consultative and solution-selling expertise
• Ability to engage both technical and executive audiences
• Experience working with channel partners and integrators
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Strong organizational and pipeline management capabilities
• Fluency in English, with strong verbal and written business communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in RFID technology (highly preferred).
• Knowledge of microprocessors, PC integration, and semiconductor hardware/software.
• Experience with credential technologies such as Mobile Keys, Apple VAS, Apple Wallet, and Google Wallet.
• Proficiency in an additional regional language (e.g., Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Urdu, or Sinhala) relevant to the assigned territory
