Our team delivers the reporting and measurement Akamai marketing relies on to make decisions. That work already depends on automation, consistent definitions, and repeatable QA. We are now extending it through self-service and AI-assisted analytics, and this role gives that work a clear owner.

This position involves managing reporting workflows and dashboards, ensuring their operation, documentation, validation, and value to end users. Collaboration with analytics leadership, data integrity partners, and technical stakeholders is essential for continuous improvement and reliability.
As a Specialist, Analytics Automation & Applied AI, you will be responsible for:
- Managing a specific set of reporting dashboards and analytics workspaces while creating scripts and workflows to automate recurring reports and QA.
- Prototyping approved AI-assisted features like QA flags, anomaly checks, and summaries, selecting scripts based on reliability, and ensuring recurring usability.
- Managing team SOPs, data dictionaries, metric definitions, campaign taxonomy, validation runbooks, and formalizing processes into accessible playbooks for people and tools.
- Piloting new workflows with analysts and stakeholders, identifying errors and feedback pre-rollout, and training users on dashboards and processes effectively.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 2 years experience building automated reporting workflows & dashboards in a marketing or digital analytics setting (Google Apps Script or others).
- Have hands-on experience with a web analytics platform such as Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics, including workspace development and segment documentation.
- Have used modern AI tools to prototype reporting, QA, or analysis workflows, with sound judgment about where human review is needed.
- Understand metric definitions, campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, data validation, and clarify ambiguous processes into precise, repeatable documentation.
- Collaborate with marketing operations, web, BI, and data engineering teams while communicating fluently in written and spoken business English.
