About the role

Drive proactive cyber defense as a SOC Analyst at Orange Business, collaborating internationally to detect, investigate, and mitigate sophisticated cyber threats around the clock within a Follow-The-Sun operational model.

• Protect customer environments by continuously monitoring for cyber threats using advanced SIEM and endpoint security tools.
• Perform detailed triage and analysis of security alarms generated from a variety of detection platforms including SIEM, endpoint protection, and network anomaly detection.
• Engage in threat hunting initiatives to identify and analyze emerging patterns and attack vectors.
• Communicate critical threats to customers and provide informed guidance on risk mitigation.
• Identify anomalies and attack techniques aligned with the MITRE ATT&CK framework across the cyber kill chain.
• Provide support throughout security incidents to ensure timely and effective defense measures.
• Contribute to the enhancement of detection capabilities and methodologies to improve security posture.
• Prepare regular reports detailing the status and health of customer security environments.
• Adapt to shift schedules within the global Follow-The-Sun operational framework, including weekends and holidays.

About you

You have a minimum of two years of professional experience in cybersecurity operations or a comparable role. You demonstrate proficiency with SIEM and/or EDR/XDR tools, with familiarity in technologies like MS Sentinel, MS Defender, or Splunk considered advantageous. You hold a degree or recognized certification in fields such as Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, or Engineering, complemented by hands-on experience in incident detection, response, and malware analysis. Your approach is rigorous, adaptable, and committed to advancing your cybersecurity expertise within a dynamic operational environment.

Your professional skills:

• Possess at least two years of experience in cybersecurity roles involving detection and response activities.
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in English to enable effective communication within global teams.
• Operate SIEM and/or EDR/XDR tools proficiently, with preferred knowledge of MS Sentinel, MS Defender, or Splunk.
• Hold an academic qualification or recognized certification in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• Have experience in penetration testing, incident detection, incident response, and malware analysis considered a strong asset.
• Certifications such as CySA+, CEH, OSCP, OSDA, Splunk Power, MS SC-200, or MS SC-100 are advantageous.
• Experience working within a Security Operations Center (SOC) or in IT departments providing technical support enhances candidacy.
