A Day in the Life

Peripheral Vascular Health (PVH) is part of Medtronic’s cardiovascular portfolio and focuses on technologies that support the treatment of peripheral arterial, venous, and embolization conditions. The PVH portfolio includes Drug Coated Balloons, Peripheral Stents, Percutaneous Transluminal Angioplasty (PTA) Balloons, embolization products, deep venous products, and superficial venous products. This role serves as the technical and clinical link between healthcare professionals and the PVH commercial organization, supporting the safe and effective adoption of the portfolio across customer sites.

This is a remote field-based role located in Belgium, supporting customers across the BeNeLux region. The position requires approximately 80% travel, including daily visits to hospitals and healthcare facilities.

As a Technical Consultant, PVH, you will provide technical, clinical, and scientific expertise for the Peripheral Vascular Health portfolio. Working closely with healthcare professionals and sales colleagues, you will support product adoption, procedure success, customer training, and clinical education across the BeNeLux region.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide in-field technical and clinical support during PVH procedures and customer cases.
• Deliver product training and education programs for healthcare professionals on the appropriate use of the PVH portfolio.
• Support sales teams with clinical, technical, and scientific expertise throughout the sales process.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for physicians, clinical staff, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and deliver scientific and clinical presentations at customer meetings and educational events.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other healthcare professionals.
• Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales teams, and internal clinical or technical experts.
• Provide post-procedure follow-up and application support to ensure successful product utilization and customer satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Engineering Sciences, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Ability to travel up to 80% across Belgium and the BeNeLux region, including daily customer visits.
• Experience in healthcare, MedTech, clinical support, technical consulting, or a customer-facing technical role.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting physicians or healthcare professionals in a hospital or clinical environment.
• Knowledge of peripheral vascular, endovascular, interventional radiology, or vascular surgery procedures.
• Experience delivering clinical education, product training, or technical presentations.
• Commercial awareness and ability to support business objectives through customer engagement.
