Role Overview

As the team’s Pricing Systems Manager, you will own the configuration, accuracy, and governance of pricing across every quoting and pricing platform IHS runs, protecting margin and keeping the customer experience consistent across more than 25 brands.

As an essential part of the team and reporting directly to the SVP of Merchandising, you will work to make sure every approved pricing decision is correctly implemented, tested, documented, and maintained, while architecting the class, subclass, and SKU data foundation behind our new master data system and pricing engine.

This is a highly detail oriented role for someone who enjoys complex systems, large datasets, and configuration driven software, and who wants to build scalable processes for a fast growing organization.

Responsibilities

• Pricing Platform Governance: Own the configuration, maintenance, and governance of pricing across all supported quoting and pricing platforms, including SumoQuote, JobNimbus, Home Builder, Zoho, Salesforce, AccuLynx, Leap, and future pricing technologies.
• Pricing Data Integrity: Maintain accurate SKU level costs, selling prices, pricing rules, rebates, financing adjustments, dealer fees, and pricebook structures across multiple brands.
• Pricing Change Implementation: Implement approved pricing changes from Merchandising, Finance, and business leadership, keeping every pricing system consistent.
• Pricing Engine and Digital Selling Tool: Partner with Product Development and Business Applications to configure and maintain pricing logic within the Digital Selling Tool and future pricing platforms.
• Master Data Architecture: Serve as the architect of the class, subclass, and SKU data infrastructure that underpins the new master data system and the pricing engine.
• Process and Change Management: Own standardized processes for pricing updates, testing, deployment, version control, and audit history.
• Data Quality and Reconciliation: Monitor pricing data for inconsistencies, cost drift, and configuration errors, and reconcile against vendor costs, invoices, and financial reporting so issues are resolved before they reach customers or profitability.
• Documentation and Enablement: Document pricing structures, configuration standards, and operating procedures, and train business subject matter experts on system functionality and standard processes.
• Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary technical resource for pricing configuration, resolving tickets accurately within defined service standards and escalating to Product Development when deeper expertise is required.
• Cross Functional Improvement: Partner with Field Operations, Customer Success, IT, Finance, Business Applications, and Product Development to continuously improve pricing workflows, automation opportunities, and data quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in pricing operations, business systems administration, revenue operations, sales operations, or a similar systems focused role.
• Experience administering pricing, quoting, CPQ, or other configuration driven business applications.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel experience, including large datasets, validation, and reconciliation.
• Demonstrated attention to detail, with experience managing data where accuracy has direct financial impact.
• Experience working cross functionally with Finance, Operations, Technology, and business stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of structured change management, testing, documentation, and deployment processes.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across numerous brands and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Hands on experience with SumoQuote, JobNimbus, Zoho, Salesforce, AccuLynx, Leap, Acumatica, or similar home services platforms, and with pricing engines, CPQ platforms, or rules based configuration systems.
• Preferred: Familiarity with vendor rebates, cost management, financing programs, and dealer fee structures in a multi brand or multi location setting, ideally within residential construction, building products, home services, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
