About the role

Systech (a Dover company) is hiring a Senior Account Manager to own a portfolio of pharmaceutical, life sciences, and brand protection accounts across an assigned EMEA territory. This is not a high-volume outbound calling role, and it's not a role where you wait on marketing to hand you everything, either. The majority of your book will be a focused set of large, strategic accounts you own long-term, proactively deepening relationships and expanding footprint, rather than waiting for a renewal cycle to prompt engagement. Alongside that, you'll develop a smaller number of new customer relationships yourself, and work qualified leads our marketing and business development teams bring you. Quota applies to everything you close, whichever source it came from - a deal you developed yourself counts the same as one marketing generated for you.

What you'll own

• Drive strategic accounts: act as the senior commercial owner for several of Systech's largest accounts, proactively deepening the relationship and expanding footprint rather than waiting for renewal cycles to prompt engagement
• Develop new customers: identify a focused set of strategic target accounts in your territory and build relationships with them over time through direct, high-value engagement, alongside qualified leads from our marketing and business development teams. This is about a handful of accounts you cultivate deliberately, not a high-volume call list
• Run complex, enterprise deals end-to-end — typical deal size $250K–$1M+ ACV, sales cycles of 6–12+ months, multiple stakeholders and buying committees
• Lead discovery, solution mapping, and executive-level presentations, partnering with a solution consultant to demonstrate Systech's platform
• Build and defend a credible forecast; manage pipeline, next steps, and account plans in the CRM
• Navigate procurement, legal, and multi-stakeholder negotiations through to close
• Represent the voice of the customer internally and work cross-functionally with marketing, solution consulting, and delivery

What you bring

• 10+ years of enterprise, full-cycle sales experience
• A track record of both winning new enterprise logos and growing existing accounts - not just one side of that
• A self-starter mindset: comfortable driving your own accounts forward and identifying targets, building relationships, and creating opportunities, rather than waiting for leads or instructions
• Comfort running long (6–12+ month), multi-stakeholder deal cycles at $250K+ ACV
• Experience selling complex, technical software/SaaS solutions to enterprise buyers
• Strong executive presence; credible in the room with VP- and C-level stakeholders
• Fluency in English
• Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, packaging, contract manufacturing, supply chain, or brand protection
• Familiarity with a formal sales methodology such as MEDDPICC
• An additional regional language (German, French, Dutch), useful depending on territory
• CRM discipline (Salesforce or similar)
