Require a sales officer in harare , zimbabwe

Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, generate leads, follow up with prospective clients, and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.

Identify relevant tender opportunities, prepare and compile tender documentation, ensure compliance with submission requirements, and submit tenders within stipulated deadlines.

Respond to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, provide product or service information, and ensure timely follow-up with clients.

Maintain accurate sales records, customer databases, quotations, invoices, purchase orders and other relevant documentation.

Prepare regular sales and administrative reports, track sales performance, and provide management with updates on leads, conversions, tenders and customer activities.

Communicate with suppliers, customers, government institutions and other stakeholders to obtain quotations, documentation, pricing and other information required for sales and tender processes.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Management or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales, administration or tender management is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and customer-service skills.
• Good computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Knowledge of the Zimbabwean tender/procurement environment is an added advantage.
