Senior service consultant (senior assistant planner)

Leading independent financial advisory practice in Bedfordview, Johannesburg is seeking a Senior Service Consultant to act as senior support to Advisors and Paraplanners. This is a specialist role for an experienced planner who can oversee complex implementation, client servicing and compliance while ensuring exceptional client experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Support Advisors/Paraplanners with preparation and implementation of financial plans
• Quality-check ROAs, suitability reports and client documentation
• Manage complex investment, retirement and insurance instructions and new business
• Ensure FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF compliance and audit-ready files
• Senior point of contact for clients and product providers
• Mentor junior support staff and assist with workflow improvements

Requirements:

• Qualification in Financial Planning / Wealth / Commerce / Business Admin
• RE5 completed + FAIS, FICA, POPIA, TCF knowledge essential
• 5-8 years' experience supporting Financial Advisors in wealth / investment admin
• Strong knowledge of investment platforms, retirement and long-term insurance
• CFP studies / PG Dip Financial Planning advantageous
