An established and growing organisation based in Sandton is seeking a skilled and driven Senior Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to take ownership of the full accounting function.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed Articles (SAICA, SAIPA, or equivalent)
• 5+ years post-articles accounting experience
• Completed BCom Accounting Degree or Accounting Diploma
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and South African tax legislation
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation and review of monthly management accounts
• Month-end and year-end reporting processes
• General ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviews
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• VAT, tax, and statutory compliance submissions
• Cash flow management and forecasting
• Budgeting and financial analysis
• Support external audits and liaise with auditors
• Assist with process improvements and financial controls
• Mentor and support junior finance team members
