Internal technical sales representative – industrial equipment

Duties & Responsibilities

Network Engineering is expanding its talent network of Internal Technical Sales Representatives experienced in industrial equipment and mechanical power-transmission products. Suitable candidates should be confident managing technical enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders and recommending products according to customer applications. Experience supporting customers within mining, manufacturing, steel, engineering or other industrial markets will be advantageous.

Education:

Matric Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Fitting and Turning or a related field would be advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Internal sales experience within an industrial or engineering environment
• Knowledge of industrial gears, gearboxes, pumps or related mechanical equipment
• Experience preparing technical quotations and processing orders
• Ability to interpret product specifications and customer requirements
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, workshops and external sales teams
• Strong customer-service, communication and follow-up skills
• Good administrative and organisational ability
• Computer literacy and experience using sales or enterprise resource planning systems
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and meet deadlines
