Finance manager

Are you a seasoned finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to take ownership of the full finance function within a dynamic and growing business? Our client, based in Somerset West, is seeking a highly driven and technically strong Finance Manager to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full finance function of the business
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Prepare and review management accounts
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls
• Manage tax, VAT, audit, and statutory requirements
• Drive process improvements and enhance financial efficiencies
• Provide strategic financial analysis and support to senior management
• Oversee and mentor the finance team
• Liaise with external stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory bodies

Requirements:

• BCom Accounting / Finance
• CA(SA) qualification is beneficial
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
• Experience managing the full finance function
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Must be comfortable with regular travel
• Advanced Excel and financial systems experience advantageous
