An exciting opportunity exists for a results-driven Business Development Manager to join a growing electrical engineering services business. This role is ideal for a commercially minded professional with a proven ability to secure new business, build long-term client relationships, and drive revenue growth within industrial and technical environments.

As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and securing new opportunities across the mining, manufacturing, utilities, data centre, and industrial sectors. You will promote a range of specialist electrical engineering services while developing strategic relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, consultants, and asset owners.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technical service sales and a demonstrated ability to convert opportunities into long-term service agreements and project contracts.

Education:

• National Diploma, BTech, or Degree in Electrical Engineering advantageous
• Sales, Marketing, or Business qualification advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 5+ years' business development experience within the electrical engineering sector
• Proven track record of generating new business and securing contracts
• Strong network within mining, industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or infrastructure sectors
• Experience selling technical engineering services
• Tendering and proposal preparation experience
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to identify opportunities and develop strategic client relationships
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated and target-driven approach
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel

• Electrical testing and commissioning
• Transformer testing and maintenance
• Switchgear testing and maintenance
• Protection relay testing and commissioning
