Calling all CIMA Cost Accountants - bring your costing expertise to a fast-paced manufacturing environment! A well-established manufacturing organisation is looking for a skilled Cost Accountant to join its finance team in Johannesburg East. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional with strong costing experience who enjoys working closely with operations and wants to play a key role in driving profitability and efficiency.

Our client is a reputable player within the manufacturing sector, operating in a fast-paced production environment where quality, efficiency and cost management are key to continued growth. As the Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for providing accurate costing information and financial insight to support operational and commercial decision-making. You will work closely with production and finance stakeholders to ensure costs are accurately captured, analysed and controlled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing detailed product and manufacturing costing
• Maintaining and analysing Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Analysing production costs and variances
• Monitoring manufacturing costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Preparing costing reports and providing financial insights to management
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• BCom degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
• CIMA studies in progress advantageous
• 4+ years’ relevant experience
