Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded engineer who enjoys working closely with customers to solve complex fluid handling challenges. You'll be responsible for selecting and sizing pumps, developing fit-for-purpose solutions, preparing technical proposals, and providing application support throughout the project lifecycle.

Working within a reputable engineering environment, you'll collaborate with sales, service, and project teams to ensure customers receive reliable and efficient pumping solutions tailored to their operational requirements.

Education:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Proven experience in pump application engineering or a similar technical role
• Strong understanding of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
• Ability to perform pump selection, sizing, and hydraulic calculations
• Experience compiling technical quotations and proposals
• Knowledge of fluid handling systems and process applications
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and customer-facing abilities
• Ability to engage with clients, consultants, and engineering teams
