Position Description
Tacoma Public Utilities and the City of Tacoma are establishing an eligible list for Warehouse Supervisor, with an immediate vacancy in Tacoma Water. This position oversees a large and diverse warehouse operation supporting critical construction, maintenance, and repair activities. In this role, you’ll ensure materials and equipment are efficiently received, stored, tracked, and distributed while maintaining accurate inventory controls and a safe, well-organized operation. You’ll supervise and support a team of warehouse employees, collaborate with internal customers and vendors to meet operational needs, and use your knowledge of warehouse systems and inventory management to help ensure crews have the resources they need, when they need them. Qualifications
An equivalent combination to: Graduation from high school supplemented by college-level courses in material and inventory control and five years' increasingly responsible experience in procurement, storing, issuance and inventory control of a wide variety of materials, supplies and equipment including two years' experience in a supervisory or lead capacity. * Relevant education and experience may substitute for one another on a year-for-year basis.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Valid Washington State driver's license at time of appointment with maintenance thereafter.

Pay Details: Hourly Rate: $49.61 - $54.69
