Summary

This is a full-time, benefits-eligible Fine Arts Vocal/Band position at Norwich Schools beginning approximately January 4, 2027. This 91-day contract (January through May) is payable over 8 months and may lead to a full-time position for the 2027-28 school year if desired. Salary is based on the teacher pay scale per the negotiated agreement.

Full-time employees receive 12 days of leave per contract year. This position is eligible for health and dental insurance through Blue Cross and Blue Shield, vision insurance, Pre-Paid Legal, and a variety of supplemental Section 125 insurances through American Fidelity.

Employer Medical Defined Benefit (district monthly contribution towards the employee health plan) for the 2026-27 school year is currently $864.00 towards a single plan ($10,368.00 yearly), and $965.00 towards a family plan ($11,580.00 yearly). USD 331 offers an employer-paid monthly match contribution to a 403 (b) retirement account for eligible employees, up to 3.5% of base salary. A recruitment/retention incentive of up to $500 per month for new teachers moving into the USD 331 community during the first year of employment.
