Role Overview

The VP, Precision Strategy is responsible for the evangelization, adoption, and scaled impact of Precision Growth solutions across Publicis and its clients. This role sits at the intersection of agency leadership, client partnership, and commercial enablement, with a clear mandate to accelerate growth through the expanded use of Precision-led capabilities while strengthening long-term client relationships.

This is a highly visible, agency and client-facing role that partners across Publicis to influence how Precision Growth solutions are understood, positioned, and applied to real business challenges. The VP will operate as a senior growth leader, driving momentum through executive engagement, cross-agency collaboration, and the articulation of a compelling value narrative that translates complex capability into tangible outcomes.

The ideal candidate is a confident executive storyteller and relationship builder who thrives in consultative, fast-moving environments. They bring deep fluency in programmatic with strong commercial acumen and the ability to align diverse stakeholders around a shared growth agenda. New business acceleration and client retention are core to this role, delivered through influence, expertise, and trusted partnership.

Responsibilities

Growth Leadership & Evangelization

  • Serve as the primary senior leader responsible for the evangelization and adoption of Precision Growth solutions across Publicis.
  • Drive adoption through clear articulation of the Precision Growth value proposition, use cases, and outcomes.
  • Ensure Precision Growth solutions are consistently and effectively positioned to address client business challenges.
  • Translate complex technical and data-driven concepts into clear, executive-level narratives.

Client, Executive, Agency & Network Collaboration

  • Build strong relationships across agency, network, executive, and client-facing teams to drive adoption of Precision Growth solutions.
  • Partner with agency leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent positioning and practical application of Precision capabilities.
  • Support executive discussions, agency forums, and internal business reviews with clear strategic framing, relevant marketplace context, and actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, collaboration, and scaled impact across the broader Publicis organization.
  • Help remove adoption barriers through education, alignment, and stakeholder engagement.

New Business & Organic Growth Enablement

  • Play a key role in driving new business momentum by supporting growth narratives, capability positioning, and executive presentations.
  • Partner with internal teams to influence growth strategies without operating as a traditional sales function.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Precision Growth adoption within existing clients through strategic alignment and value demonstration.
  • Contribute to the evolution of go-to-market approaches that enable sustainable growth.

Marketplace Expertise & Strategic Perspectives

  • Develop strategic perspectives and points of view on the future of programmatic media and evolving marketplace dynamics.
  • Articulate how Precision Growth solutions fit within broader industry trends, shifts in buying behavior, and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor developments across DSPs, SSPs, retail media networks, publishers, identity solutions, AI-enabled buying, and automation.
  • Translate marketplace developments into clear, actionable guidance for agencies, clients, and internal stakeholders.
  • Contribute to thought leadership, executive presentations, internal education, and agency-facing materials that strengthen PMX’s position in the market.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in digital media, programmatic, or precision-driven growth roles.
  • Significant experience within an agency environment, with exposure to client-facing and growth-oriented leadership.
  • Deep understanding of programmatic and data-driven growth strategies and their role in driving business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders through strong storytelling, relationship building, and commercial acumen.
  • Experience operating across complex organizations and partnering with multiple teams and leadership groups.
  • Executive-level communication skills, including experience presenting to senior and C-suite audiences.
  • Strong strategic mindset with the ability to connect vision to practical application.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive alignment without direct authority.

Compensation Range: USD $168,150.00 - USD $269,217.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. This role may also be eligible for bonus or incentive compensation. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
