Position Summary

As a Staff Software Engineer in Information Security, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions that align with business objectives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional partners to analyze requirements, manage risks, and deliver high-quality, maintainable code. You will drive continuous integration and automation efforts while ensuring adherence to security standards and best practices. What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and address technical and business requirements for information security solutions.
• Design scalable, modular, and secure software architectures aligned with business objectives and compliance standards.
• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code using Python and other relevant technologies, ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Implement automation scripts to support continuous integration and delivery pipelines, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
• Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting to resolve security vulnerabilities and software defects promptly.
• Monitor program metrics and report progress to ensure alignment with project milestones and risk mitigation strategies.

What you'll bring

• Proven expertise in software architecture, scalability, and designing distributed systems with high availability and disaster recovery considerations.
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and coding standards, with experience in automation and continuous integration/delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, analysis, and engagement techniques.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and implementation within software development lifecycles.
• Experience in debugging, defect management, and root cause analysis to ensure product quality and security compliance.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into modular, extensible technical solutions aligned with business objectives.

Salary

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.

Minimum Qualifications

• Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.
• Option 2: 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area at a technology, retail, or data-driven company.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Security+, GISF, CISSP, CCSP, or GSEC, Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, information systems, cybersecurity or related area and 2 years’ experience leading information security or cybersecurity projects.
