Role summary:

In this role you will help shape and execute Walmart Marketplace's fees and incentives strategy across international markets. This role combines strategy, market intelligence, cross-functional leadership, and analytics functions. You will develop a deep understanding of competitive fee structures, seller needs, and local market dynamics, translating those insights into actionable strategies and roadmap priorities.

Working across US and international Marketplace teams, Product, Finance, Analytics, Data Science, and seller-facing organizations, you will help scale high-ROI incentive programs, drive implementation of global fee strategies, and ensure our technology roadmap supports the evolving needs of international markets.

About the team:

The Seller Fees & Incentives team drives profitable Marketplace growth by designing competitive fee structures and scalable incentive programs that create value for both sellers and Walmart. We use rigorous, data-driven analysis to optimize investment decisions, maximize ROI, and influence seller behavior through attracting high-value sellers, expanding strategic assortment, improving the customer value proposition, and accelerating adoption of new Marketplace capabilities.

Our team partners closely with seller-facing teams, Product, Data Science, Finance, and internal business partners to shape high-impact Marketplace strategy.

What you'll do:

• Shape global fees strategy through competitive research, market trends, and seller insights.
• Adapt global fee and incentive strategies to local market needs and priorities.
• Scale high-ROI incentive programs across US and international markets.
• Develop executive recommendations combining research, analytics, seller insights, and financial considerations.
• Drive cross-functional alignment across Marketplace, Product, Finance, Analytics, and seller-facing teams.
• Shape the global Fees & Incentives roadmap by translating market needs into prioritized requirements.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to enable scalable global capabilities.
• Measure program performance, monitor KPIs, and optimize incentive ROI.

What you'll bring:

• Strong business acumen and structured problem-solving skills, translating ambiguity into actionable strategies.
• Experience synthesizing market research and stakeholder insights into strategic recommendations.
• Proven ability to lead complex cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
• Excellent executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical capabilities across large datasets, financial models, KPIs, and BI tools.
• Product mindset with experience translating business needs into requirements and technology roadmaps.
• Ability to navigate global and local market priorities effectively.
• High ownership and curiosity, driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
