The Manager, Advanced Analytics leads a team to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic business objectives. This role partners with leadership to identify key challenges, develop analytical models, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business value. The position oversees project execution, mentors team members, and fosters collaboration across functions to implement innovative solutions. With expertise in advanced analytics and programming, the manager ensures effective data analysis and model development while maintaining alignment with organizational goals and promoting continuous improvement within the analytics practice.

About the team:

Our team drives Walmart Marketplace’s pricing strategy by developing analytics, measurement, and data products that enhance price competitiveness, seller adoption, and customer experience. We collaborate closely with Product, Business, and Data Science teams to transform complex data into actionable insights, scalable solutions, and measurable business impact. The team emphasizes advanced analytics, data-driven decision making, and effective stakeholder management to support strategic initiatives. By leveraging skills in SQL, Python, and data visualization, we deliver solutions that inform pricing strategies and improve overall marketplace performance.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with leadership and business partners to identify analytics objectives and develop research plans addressing key challenges.
• Lead and mentor a team to execute business area goals, providing coaching and performance feedback.
• Manage end-to-end project workstreams, including risk assessment and implementation oversight.
• Develop and validate advanced data models and algorithms to drive actionable business insights.
• Present strategic recommendations based on data analysis to inform functional initiatives.
• Foster strong cross-functional relationships to support consultative solutions and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies while promoting continuous learning and improvement.

What you'll bring:

• Proven expertise in advanced analytics and data-driven decision making to address complex business challenges.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for developing data models, algorithms, and analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage projects end-to-end, including risk assessment and stakeholder collaboration.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and business leaders to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings and influence decision-making at various organizational levels.

The annual salary range for this position is $104,000.00 - $202,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: - Stock

Minimum Qualifications
