Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill adults on the ICU, including monitoring and reassessment of patient status
• Manage airway and ventilator support as directed; execute complex nursing interventions per physician orders
• Administer medications and titrate treatments per protocol; respond quickly to clinical changes and emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the care team; participate in daily rounds and care planning
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes in the EMR (Epic); ensure accurate and timely recordkeeping
• Support patient and family education, discharge planning, and coordination with ancillary services

Requirements

• Current, active RN license (state of practice) with eligibility to work in Florida; degree accreditation must be on profile
• ICU experience: minimum of 2 years in adult critical care
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• Proficiency with EMR systems; Epic experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour daytime shifts in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Must be willing to float to other units as needed; radius rule: within 50 miles
• RTO must be submitted at the time of submittal; no exceptions for pending documentation

Education

• Nursing degree from an accredited program; degree accreditation must be on profile
