Qualifications:

Requirements/Qualifications:

• High School diploma or its equivalent.
• 1+ years’ experience as Ophthalmology Technician required.
• Ability to type 45 wpm.
• Clean driving record, current driver’s license and proof of car insurance is required.
• Advanced understanding of HIPAA rules and regulations.
• LASIK experience preferred.
• Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA)/Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) preferred.
• Experience with an Electronic Health Record (EHR) preferred.
• Experience in Medical scribing preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Skills/Abilities

• Ability to type 45 wpm.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
