Technical lead, corporate integrations

Essential Job Functions

Technical Leadership:

Define architecture, service patterns, API standards, and engineering practices while ensuring security, reliability, scalability, and observability.

Software Development:

Build and maintain backend services, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and high-throughput data pipelines using F#, .NET, and AWS.

Cloud & DevOps:

Develop infrastructure using Terraform and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Work with finance, billing, procurement, and other business teams to define requirements, API contracts, technical scope, and priorities.

Mentorship & Team Growth:

Coach engineers in F# and functional design, lead code reviews and design discussions, and support technical interviews and onboarding.

Cross-Team Alignment:

Collaborate with engineering leadership to maintain consistent architectural standards across Software Integrations.

Physical Requirements

Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment. May require occasional travel (up to 3 trips per year) to Houston, TX to meet with the team, stakeholders, and engineering leadership. This is a remote position within the United States.

Education & Experience

Hands-on production experience with F# and mentoring teams in functional programming. AWS experience, particularly ECS, Aurora, and related services. Experience integrating enterprise finance, billing, procurement, or ERP systems. Infrastructure-as-Code experience with Terraform or Pulumi. Experience building a team or establishing engineering practices from the ground up. Background in logistics, transportation, or supply chain. Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent professional experience. Certification & Licenses Professional certification may be required in some areas.
