Job Description

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Team Lead, Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for executing the full recruitment process, developing sourcing strategies, conducting interviews, and managing talent acquisition projects while collaborating with business leaders across all business lines. This role also partners with the VP Talent Acquisition and CHRO to shape vendor strategy (job board platforms, ATS systems), streamline processes, procedures, and automation, and lead department-wide training on new strategies, ATS automation, and workflows. As a team lead, this position directs the work of other TA Partners, mentors and trains new team members, and serves as the primary point of escalation and coverage for the VP Talent Acquisition and CHRO.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Team Leadership & Department Strategy

  • Serve as team lead for Talent Acquisition Partners — assigning requisitions, monitoring workload balance, and providing day-to-day guidance and coaching
  • Train, onboard, and mentor new TA Partners on recruitment processes, ATS tools, and sourcing best practices
  • Partner with the VP Talent Acquisition and external vendors (Indeed, LinkedIn, Phenom, Workday) to increase applicant flow, improve applicant experience, and strengthen company branding
  • Help lead process improvement initiatives, including streamlining workflows, procedures, and ATS automation across the department
  • Maintain ATS data integrity and drive continuous process improvements across the Talent Acquisition team
  • Collaborate with the leadership to develop mid-term and long-term workforce planning strategies

Business Partnership & Strategy

  • Partner with business leaders to develop and implement talent acquisition strategies aligned with overall business goals, including premium labor reduction, cost per hire, contract labor, and staff mix targets
  • Analyze open positions and partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment alternatives that meet business objectives (university recruiting, employee referral campaigns, candidate qualification, benefits overview, offer extension, etc.)
  • Develop and implement proactive talent acquisition strategies with hiring managers and business leaders, including succession planning, internal mobility, and diversity and inclusion initiatives
  • Advise leaders on market conditions, compensation trends, candidate availability, and recruitment best practices
  • Work with HR and managers to address recruiting and retention challenges related to turnover, market factors, and management-specific issues
  • Stay current on talent market trends and developments to provide actionable insights to business leaders

Full-Cycle Recruitment

  • Own all aspects of the recruitment process — sourcing, candidate qualification, referrals, interview coordination, benefits overview, offer extension, and handoff to onboarding
  • Manage the entire recruitment cycle from interviewing through onboarding, filling immediate openings in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract top talent
  • Source candidates through multiple channels — job boards, social media, and networking events — to build a diverse talent pool
  • Proactively build talent pipelines with a focus on growth and hard-to-staff areas, partnering with local hospitals, clinics, and competitors
  • Represent and enhance the company's employer brand, showcasing culture, values, and opportunities to attract candidates
  • Enhance the candidate experience throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Engage in networking activities at both local and national levels

Metrics & Reporting
