Job Description
Job Overview
The Systems Integration & Test (SI&T) Manager is responsible for the installation, integration, and test of Combat System equipment aboard ship during the post-delivery shipyard period. Working on-site at the shipyard, you will track combat system hardware from delivery through installation, coordinate the delivery and installation of tactical software and adaptation data, and drive the sequence of stage testing, and Combat System Light-Off that brings the ship’s combat system to life. You will serve as a key integrator for Saronic, working with shipbuilding customers, the combat system engineering agent, and equipment and software providers — keeping configuration, schedule, and test status aligned so the ship achieves a safe, on-schedule, and fully qualified combat system.

Direct experience with the Aegis Combat System (or a closely related shipboard combat system) across installation, integration, and test. Working knowledge of combat system stage testing, light-off, and qualification trials. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, ICDs, wiring/cabling diagrams, and test procedures. Strong coordination skills across shipbuilder and vendor stakeholders in a shipyard environment. Familiarity with Aegis baselines. Knowledge of the Total Ship Test Program (TSTP), Combat System Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS), and combat system alignment procedures. Experience supporting Builder’s Trials, Acceptance Trials, Combat System Qualification Trials, and Post Shakedown Availability. Familiarity with ITAR/EAR export-control requirements.
