Mississippi County Hospital System is seeking a strategic and experienced Chief Revenue Officer to lead our revenue cycle management and optimize financial performance across our healthcare facilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive revenue cycle strategies to maximize revenue and improve cash flow.
• Oversee billing, coding, collections, and accounts receivable processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient access, registration, and documentation procedures.
• Monitor financial performance metrics and prepare reports for executive leadership to inform decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, payer requirements, and organizational policies.
• Lead, mentor, and develop revenue cycle staff to foster a high-performance team environment.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance revenue integrity.
• Manage relationships with payers, vendors, and external partners to facilitate smooth operations.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Proven experience in revenue cycle management within a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare billing, coding, insurance reimbursement, and compliance standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to develop strategic initiatives and lead change management efforts.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, CMS guidelines, and payer policies.
