Job Description

ABM is seeking a results-driven Account Manager to lead expansion growth across an established portfolio of accounts. This role is responsible for managing rebids, driving expansion within strategic accounts, and building partnerships with high value hyper target accounts. The ideal candidate combines strong relationship management skills with a strategic mindset while executing an organized, proactive sales approach and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to deliver client value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Rebids & Retention –
    • Create and drive strategy for rebids in Neutral or Less Confident
    • Interact with prioritized coops
    • Support the rebid process and spearhead year prior strategy for existing at-risk accounts, ensuring competitive positioning and client retention
    • Partner with operations, finance, and leadership to develop compelling, value-based proposals
  • Strategic Account Growth
    • Drive revenue growth within designated strategic accounts through targeted opportunity identification and pursuit
    • Engage multiple decision-makers to expand current onsite relationships
    • Align solutions with client business objectives to create long-term value Engage other IG’s and support resources to expand ABM’s value proposition to strategic accounts
  • Partnership Development (Target Accounts)
    • Establish and cultivate relationships with Advancement/Foundations at prospective, high-value target accounts
    • Position the organization as a trusted partner through insight-led conversations and tailored solutions
    • Work alongside local business development and marketing teams to build pipeline and brand presence for top Hyper targets related to retention, growth, and partnership development

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development
  • Proven track record of managing rebids and growing existing accounts
  • Experience working cross-functionally with operations or service delivery teams
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience managing strategic or enterprise-level accounts
  • Background in solution-based or consultative selling
  • Demonstrated success in developing long-term client partnerships
