Salary Range: $28.00 - $32.00 Hourly

WHAT SLPA's DO:
- Provide direct speech and language services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Work individually and in small groups with middle/high school students to support communication goals identified in their IEPs.
- Support students with expressive/receptive language, social communication, fluency, and functional communication needs.
- Assist with AAC and other communication supports and strategies.
- Collect data and maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services.
- Prepare therapy materials, visuals, and activities.
- Collaborate with SLPs, teachers, EAs, families, and other members of the student’s educational team.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and student-centered school environment.

Qualifications:
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Current Minnesota SLPA license or eligibility to obtain one
- Associate degree from an accredited SLPA program or qualifying education and training.
- Ability to operate a computer and the software necessary to complete the required job tasks
- Ability to work collaboratively and accept direction and feedback from the supervising SLP
- Experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum and or middle or high school age.
