Spa and wellness supervisor

Responsible for the daily operation of Reflections Spa, Harrah’s Fitness Room and pool area and Caesars Republic High Dive Pool and Lounge center in the absence of the manager. Monitor and control expenses within approved budget constraints. Promote and provide top quality customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversees Harrah’s and Caesars Republic Leisure Services daily operations in the absence of the manager.
• Maintenance and analysis of operational files and reporting systems.
• Operating forecasts and reports, month end accounting and inventory management.
• Purchases, receives and authorizes payment and inventories of products for all Leisure Services departments within budget constraints, including merchandising and retail products.
• Grows, sells and controls membership database.
• Controls all Marketing Spa Appointments.
• Communicates, through buzz sessions, all pertinent hotel and leisure services activities and information.
• Maintains the quality of outside contractor services and ensures license and insurance requirements are maintained as required by Harrah’s and Douglas County.
• Scheduling, timeworks approval and commissions.
• Interviewing, selecting, coaching and counseling, employee file entries, PAF’s and reviews for all Leisure Services employees.
• Implements FOCUS and other training initiatives.
• Fosters positive interdepartmental communications and relationships.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Literate and fluent in English
• Excellent guest service skills
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Good interpersonal skills, with emphasis in relationship building.
• Good problem solving skills
• Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
• Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds
• Ability to grasp, use repetitive hand motion, finger dexterity
• Ability to bend, reach, squat
• Ability to hear, talk, see, write, use visual inspection, have hand-eye coordination
• Ability to frequently sit, stand and walk
• Ability to occasionally push/pull
• Ability to occasionally use a step stool and ladder
• Ability to climb stairs
• Ability to use equipment and machines relating to the spa
• Ability to occasionally tolerate extreme inside temperatures
• Positions that have contact with the public require the ability to work in a noisy environment, and may be exposed to guests who use tobacco products. Also, non-public contact positions may be required to enter public areas from time to time, in connection with their duties, and may be subject to the same environment.
