Social Media Director Williamsburg - F/T in office - $80k+

Our client is a fast-growing company that acquires brands and transforms them through strategic marketing, elevated design, revamped websites, and improved products. They are looking for a Social Media Director to lead the team responsible for the company’s social media presence and drive the overall social strategy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll manage 3 Social Media Managers, providing direction and strategy as they work with influencers, coordinate shoots, create advertisements, and manage the company’s social media accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee social media strategy and direction across multiple brands
• Manage and provide direction to individual social media managers
• Develop distinct content strategies, brand voices, and creative direction for each brand
• Review and approve content calendars, campaigns, and key social initiatives
• Ensure consistent quality and execution across all social channels
• Coordinate social media with brand, creative, influencer, and marketing teams
• Identify trends, content opportunities, and new ways to grow engagement
• Track performance and use results to improve content strategy
• Keep multiple brands and social teams organized and moving forward

Qualifications:

• Strong experience managing social media for consumer or e-commerce brands
• Experience overseeing multiple brands or social media accounts
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and other major social platforms
• Excellent creative judgment and understanding of brand positioning
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple social media managers and priorities simultaneously
• Experience with fashion, beauty, lifestyle, or consumer brands is a plus
