About the Role:

The Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations during their assigned shift at our Mesa, AZ location. This position is responsible for overseeing daily activities, managing team members, and maintaining high standards of customer service and operational excellence. The Shift Supervisor acts as the primary point of contact for employees during the shift, providing guidance, support, and conflict resolution as needed. They are also tasked with monitoring performance metrics, ensuring compliance with company policies, and addressing any issues that arise promptly to minimize disruptions. Ultimately, the Shift Supervisor ensures that all operational goals are met while fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a retail, hospitality, or service environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and scheduling tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree or higher in business administration, management, or a related field.
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
• Conflict resolution and problem-solving certification or training.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of team members to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to company standards.
• Provide leadership and support to staff, including training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Monitor operational processes and quality standards to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage shift schedules, breaks, and attendance to ensure adequate staffing levels at all times.
• Address and resolve employee or customer concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies throughout the shift.
• Prepare and submit shift reports detailing performance, incidents, and any operational challenges.
• Collaborate with management to implement process improvements and achieve business objectives.
