The Patient Access Senior Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless and positive patient experience by accurately managing patient registration and access processes within the healthcare revenue cycle. Ensures data integrity, regulatory compliance, and a positive patient experience while directly influencing revenue cycle KPIs such as registration accuracy, point-of-service collections, and first-pass claim rates. Serves as the first point of contact for patients onsite in healthcare facilities and are essential in supporting clinical and financial operations for financial health through accurate data entry, auditing, and communication. Strong attention to detail, compassion, and adherence to policies are essential for success in this role. Leads training efforts, and mentors other associates to ensure consistency and excellence. Conducts audits, troubleshoots system issues, and handles escalated patient concerns with professionalism and empathy. The Senior Specialist collaborates with leadership to implement process improvements and uphold compliance standards, serving as a subject matter resource. Performs additional duties as assigned, including answering phones, supporting other facilities, and completing administrative tasks. Supports other employees, departments, and facilities as needed.
