The TSET Health Promotion Research Center (HPRC) at the Stephenson Cancer Center is seeking an innovative, strategic, and highly collaborative Senior Program Manager to join our team of scientists dedicated to advancing cancer prevention, chronic disease prevention, health promotion, and population health research. What You'll Do

As a Senior Program Manager for Dr. Michael Businelle’s lab, you will manage a portfolio of NIH-funded smoking/alcohol cessation randomized controlled trials (4 currently) that utilize technology (e.g., smartphone applications) to prevent cancer in Oklahoma and across the United States. You will manage a large group of research assistants and oversee day-to-day operations of the lab including strategic leadership, program development, program and project management, grant and contract management, team leadership and training, and stakeholder and community engagement.

Required Education and Experience:

• Master's degree.
• 36 months of program administration or related experience.

Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 72 months of related experience in lieu of the Master's degree for a total of 108 months of related experience.

Required Certifications and Licenses:

• Valid Driver's License

Department Preferences:

• Prior experience managing a behavioral science research lab, clinical trial management, and data collection.
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Able to supervise staff and communicate directions and expectations effectively.
• Strong initiative to solve problems.
• Degree in psychology, sociology, public health, medicine, or other health related field.
